The Process

Step 1: Test Your Air Quality

Our air quality experts will come to your home and test the quality of your indoor air using a laser particle counter, a UV light , and air and surface humidity tests. The laser particle counter tests your air for microscopic particulate matter. The UV light points out suspected areas of mold or mildew surface contamination.

We test the relative humidity of your air, as well as do a surface test to determine if humidity is accumulating on your walls or floors, even if it’s not visible to the naked eye. If requested, we are also able to run Formaldehyde and VOC tests in the space for customers concerned about exposure to those contaminants. These initial steps will tell us what we need to know about your home’s smell problems and help guide us in providing a solution.

Step 2: Recommend Plan of Action

We’ll start with our proprietary Beyond by ActivePure Blast, which runs over the course of the installation, removing odors and purifying the air and surfaces in your space for a deep initial treatment. It can be run while the space is occupied and features ActivePure Technology® that reduces pathogens, air pollution, VOCs, and more.

After the Hydroxl Blast is complete, then we’ll suggest a permanent dehumidification and/or air purification solution that addresses your home’s air quality problems on an on-going basis.

Step 3: Implement Your Custom SmellBusters Solution

Your custom SmellBusters solution will come with our installation help for whichever product you choose. We’ll come to your home and set up your air purifier and/or dehumidifier and make sure it’s running properly and that you understand how to maintain and use your product.
